With three of Hong Kong\u2019s strategic landfills expected to reach maximum capacity by 2019, waste management in Hong Kong has become a huge challenge and concern for policy makers and citizens.<\/p>\n<p>The Scheme, which lasts for 60 days, aims to promote a food waste recycling culture in the area by providing recycling services to 200 participating households. With proper processing, food waste can be made into fish food \u2013 a creative solution to the imminent waste management dilemma in Hong Kong.
